VERSA Studios Opens Its Doors in London for Summer Open-Night

Fresh from hosting productions such as Kate Garraway’s Life Stories, Cooking With The Stars, Pointless, Friday Night Live, and The John Bishop Show, the team at VERSA Studios opened their London doors for a Summer Open Night for the advertising and production community.

The open night provided an opportunity for collaborators, both old and new, to meet and experience how the VERSA Studios team not only offers world-class facilities but also prioritises producers, crew, and audiences.

The event featured tours of VERSA London Studios and partner Skylite’s impressive 16ft floating helium lighting installation balloons, as well as a VERSA branded Defender equipped with lights and cameras. Guests enjoyed delicious fare from Five Guys and CrossTown Doughnuts, alongside fridges stocked with Moretti beers. DJ Luc kept the atmosphere lively, and a basketball net provided additional entertainment, ensuring everyone was fed, watered, and entertained.

The release of the series Joan, starring Sophie Turner and Frank Dillane, premieres this Sunday on ITV1.

It tells the story of Joan Hannington, a fiery and uncompromising woman in her 20s, is a devoted mother to her 6-year-old daughter, Kelly, but is trapped in a disastrous marriage with a violent criminal named Gary. When Gary goes on the run, Joan seizes the opportunity to create a new life for herself and her daughter.

This highly anticipated series included some scenes filmed at VERSA London, where our team provided studios and production facilities to support the project.
