VERSA Studios Supports Women In Film & TV, Hosting ‘Behind the Scenes of Daytime TV’ Panel and Networking Event at Manchester’s ABC Building Studio

VERSA Studios are proud to kick-off their support of Women In Film & TV (WFTV) with a discussion panel and evening networking drinks event that brings the industry’s Broadcast TV and Film community together at their central Manchester home, the ABC Buildings on Quay Street, Enterprise City.

The partnership event takes place on Wednesday 20th September from 6.30pm – 11pm and begins with a special WFTV In-Conversation Panel Discussion ‘Behind the Scenes of Daytime TV’ with some of the women behind the UK’s hit Daytime TV shows, followed by drinks, food and networking opportunities with WFTV members and industry colleagues. The evening will also feature tours of VERSA Studios’ dedicated home for the BBC’s leading daytime show Morning Live, the VERSA ABC (Skyline) Studio on the rooftop floor of the ABC Buildings.

ITV - The Long Shadow

VERSA Leeds Studios was proud to provide production facilities to support ITV’s 7-part series The Long Shadow, filmed extensively across Yorkshire in 2022.

Featuring a stellar cast including Toby Jones and directed by Lewis Arnold, this powerful series delves into the shortcomings of the investigation into the murderer Peter Sutcliffe who plagued northern England in the late 1970s, while also illuminating the stories of his victims.
